Stripe CEO @patrickc : "the singularity" has begun, because AI appears to be changing long-run economic trends.
"2026 Q1 will be looked back upon as the first quarter of the singularity."
Says it adopted that operating assumption on January 1, 2026 and that it has become a premise for how the company invests, grows, and navigates uncertainty.
Stripe ties that thesis to current business data, 41% year-over-year first-half revenue growth, 43% growth in free cash flow.
