In the v1.0 of the model, we consider the effects of AI-induced structural change with labor market frictions limiting how quickly the economy adjusts.
I think of the AI shock as similar to an "endogenous cost-push shock" a la Guerrieri, Lorenzoni, Straub, Werning (2021).
