FT: SoftBank is in talks with senior Gulf figures, including in the UAE, to raise up to $100B for a fund that would buy companies and apply AI and robotics to their operations.
Its Roze robotics and physical AI unit is expected to play a central role, which moves SoftBank from minority startup stakes toward owning and running businesses.
