Unitree’s new Dex5-S starts at RMB39,900, packing 22 motors and 22 degrees of freedom into a hand roughly the size of a human’s.
Weighing about 620g, it supports a 2kg payload, or 1kg during continuous operation. A new little-finger roll axis adds grasping flexibility, alongside built-in impact protection.
Still not quite ready to be Wednesday Addams’ best friend, Thing.
