Really like these parts from the All-In Podcast today, the HuggingFace incident and how unnecessarily sensationalized it became.
Basically there is a real problem when pure technical events are packaged as dramatic stories about civilizations, conspiracies, and autonomous entities.
That language creates fear far beyond what the underlying facts justify.
