From AlphaGo to AlphaZero to AlphaFold, his work has shaped not only the trajectory of artificial intelligence, but also our understanding of what AI can do for science.

In 2024, he was rightly awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, together with John Jumper and David Baker, for breakthroughs that changed how we understand and predict protein structures.

Without @GoogleDeepMind ’s work, and without the scientific vision behind it, I genuinely believe the AI field would not be where it is today.

Getting to meet him in person was an unbelievable moment for me.
