Features

• Users can now raise the startup connect budget with GROK_CONNECT_UI_TIMEOUT_SECS if you hit timeouts.
• Permission prompts now show Always allow and Never allow by default.
• Delete scheduled background loops directly from the tray.
• Status-line command scripts can run on a timer via refresh_interval in config.toml.
• Permission prompts offer a persistent Never allow for MCP tools and web-fetch domains, stored per project.
• Workflows tab in the extensions modal (Ctrl+L / /plugins): lists installed workflows with name, source, and description.
• New /workflows command opens the Workflows catalog tab; /workflow runs shows live runs.
• Bare /workflow (or /workflow runs) lists active and recent runs with status and progress, instead of usage help.
• Workflows row in the Ctrl+P command palette opens the Workflows catalog tab.

Bug fixes

• MCP connections in non-interactive sessions no longer require auth for tokenless servers.
• Startup timeouts from concurrent auth refreshes across multiple sessions are fixed.
• Tool-call loops are interrupted earlier so identical actions waste less time.
• Subagents no longer get the ask-user-question tool.
• Bare email addresses become clickable mailto: links in the pager.
