According to Caijing, DeepSeek is nearing completion of its second funding round, bringing in roughly $14 billion, double its initial $7 billion target.
While its pre-money valuation remains unchanged at around $70 billion, the round is expected to be split evenly between new and existing investors, with Geely joining previous backers such as CATL and Tencent. CATL alone may contribute $1.4 billion.
