Vellum supports Ambient Assistants for small and one-person businesses, where a single person manages advertisements, invoices, customer support, and the website.

An ambient session can be used while looking at an ad dashboard with a confusing design, so it can guide users step by step through the settings in QuickBooks or Shopify.

On macOS, pressing the Fn key twice opens an assistant; holding Fn switches it to dictation mode for replies in any app, and no recordings are made in the background.
