Keep in mind how much more capable their internal model reportedly was just a week ago. That’s why I suspect there’s more to this than rumors. If it really solved a Millennium Prize Problem that quickly, it would make sense for OpenAI to push to solve more of them, especially with Anthropic’s rumored IPO adding to the competitive pressure.
